Meta New Display Equipped Ray Bans Glasses

Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses represent the latest evolution in smart eyewear, featuring an integrated heads-up display (HUD) that marks a significant advancement from current audio-only models.

The new Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses include a small display located in the right lens that can show various types of information including map previews, chat messages, navigation directions, and contextual information about what the wearer is looking at. The display enables users to interact with Meta AI for queries, translation services, and other AI-powered features without needing to look at a phone.

These glasses feature an innovative wristband accessory that uses electromyography (EMG) technology to decode hand and finger movements, allowing users to control the device through gestures. The leaked video demonstrated users swiping with their fingers to type responses to messages, showcasing the seamless interaction capabilities.

Meta initially planned to release the display-equipped Ray-Ban smart glasses in the second half of 2025, with an expected price point of approximately $800. However, leaked promotional videos surfaced just before Meta's Connect conference in September 2025, suggesting an earlier announcement timeline.

The existing Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses (without display) feature a 12MP ultra-wide camera, 1080p video recording, 32GB storage, custom speakers, five microphones, Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, IPX4 water resistance, and 36 hours of battery life with the charging case. They weigh between 48.6g to 50.8g depending on the frame style.

The display-equipped version maintains the classic Wayfarer frame design with clear lenses, ensuring they look like traditional Ray-Ban glasses while integrating advanced technology. This design philosophy continues Meta's approach of creating smart glasses that don't compromise on style or wearability.
